The airport „Hilton“ (still cannot believe it) would also be an embarrassment to any other Hilton group chain.
The plan of action could be derived from airline crash response teams a few decades ago; first go out and paint over anything that says „Hilton“ , so that people don’t associate it with the brand anymore. Than demolish it.
Manchester airport vicinity really went out of its way to show you a good time

MAN really put up a good show. After the Hilton, I didn’t find the Aspire lounge so bad anymore (except for the toilets), because my expectations were so low.

Just returned from a great trip for two to Patagonia using this fare, out via ZRH, return via FRA.
Took the Thalys BRU-AMS-BRU for €58 return and had the pleasure of the Aspire lounge in AMS including the clean toilets.
Flight to ZRH was delayed by an hour due to fresh snow in ZRH but as there were 11 pax we were taken directly from the airbridge to passport control and then to the Edelweiss EZE flight (LX flight number) which was held for us.
As it was a P fare, the award miles on LX and LH were significantly different:
AMS-ZRH-EZE: 8950 award miles, 9726 status miles
EZE-FRA-AMS: 3252 award miles, 9562 status miles
but at least I qualified for the generous offer:
Your Flytime: 01/02/2019 – 30/04/2019
Earn 17,000 status miles
Get 5,100 extra award miles
Unfortunately there was no availability for upgrade to F on the return, but the upper deck on the 748 was calm enough

Here's some extra (from the very first day, actually more like very first hour). Nothing much to add, Xandrios has it about right (I had no idea about *A lounge. Wonder when I'll be able to try that one)

Are you not in the Senator lounge? I remember the whisky collection when I joined you once before. I'm in Düsseldorf, taking the train to Basel tomorrow. That way I bring lots of liquids (German wine) with me! So, another time!

Did LH group obtain a lot of paint on the cheap ? Seems like they were trialing the Blue colours for LH, shame they picked the wrong one
