Some battles have to be fought to a reasonable demarcation line. The LH Appomattox Court House so to say.

I have had a lot of downtime at home with aging parents, and business is slow until Mid-April...what do others have for excuses?

Quality-wise, you made it into the Top5 easily and I can assure you that one spends way more time reading your posts in comparison to some other posters.

Summarizing some side discussions with other users via private messages, I can assure you that a lot of folks agree with me and also liked the input provided by yourself.

It is indeed sad, and so fitting that all those guys swear not to fly Lufty again only to return a few weeks later with another rant.

You are spot on. When I left Europe, I didn't even know Valentine's Day existed outside of slasher movies and now LH hauls hundreds of ton of biological waste North .

Correct.

There is a great blog on Harvard Business Review today noting that more couples buy flowers and other things out of a feeling of moral obligation than anything else.

Still- nice piece of business for Lufthansa!

Absolutely good for business!

Glad I don't have any moral obligations and a wife who supports that!

I took Ms. Travelsig out for dinner last night and she was very happy with that- so also not in the "moral obligation" category.

On the way to FRA right now so quite an early start to the day....
