Talking

I had to enter API data for my LX flight next week but however many times I tried booking.swiss.com changed my date of birth to one day earlier than what I entered. I know my M&M card has a wrong date as well (one day later than it should be) but I don't think they are related anyway.

In the end I entered a date one day later than the actual date and it worked!

Haha, yeah. Flights posted last night at 8PM. Last year it seemed like a good idea to use CessnaHON in the profile, but it's been a while since - and I wanted to qualify from Mar 2011.

Exactly, I already waited so long! I woke up this morning, launched the Lufthansa iPhone app to confirm the overnight status change. I entertained myself with the new reading material on the M&M site for a bit, and just checked FT. Back to work now!

Congratulations! (I suppose...)
Now, where's the card?
I received mine in 3 days. ^

Nice, thanks for keeping us updated!

It is a little scary though how much time some spend on here (me included)

Thanks! I'll give you my seat if I'm the one that filled the lounge.

3 days is quick for the card, but you don't live in Romania. It took them 7-10 days for the SEN I believe. Is the mail package the same size as the SEN? That's roughly the thickness that fits through the mailbox slot.

Which lounge? FCT or FCL?

I got my card quicker than those who qualified at the same time in Germany and Switzerland. ^

The card, luggage tags and some kind of booklet IIRC will arrive in a black box the size of a laptop. It was sent by courier and may not fit through your mailbox slot.

Ok, to be fair, the stats were from the beginning of FT (1998-). If you take 2011 as a starting point the picture is a bit different:

It also reflects the nextgen FT, as previous regulars flysurfer, andre1970, Rudi, tcswede etc have found better use of their time. When I joined in late 2002, the M&M forum was a civil affair with about 24 regulars shepherded by Patron. We had the occasional visitor from the land of the free asking quaestions about redemptions, but that was before the FCL/T and other 'why F' products.

Oh dear! Please delete the above post as I don't want anybody to know what I do with my time (especially myself!)

My wife is already giving me a hard time about spending too much time on FT. If she sees this I'll be in trouble! Does anybody have a good suggestion for a research paper that would justify spending so much time on FT?

78 posts since 01.01.2011 is less than one post a day. What's the problem?
