No idea why the first image is upside down.
Stupid FT image uploader!

P.S. It looks like the image displays correctly on some browsers but not on others.
P.P.S. Should be ok now.

Has anyone noticed Miles & More now has a new 'currency' symbol which is the letter M with a horizontal line across the middle for award miles? Curiously executive bonuses are shown without the symbol.

I seem to remember seeing it before somewhere (WorldShop catalogue on board?), but not in the account statement, no.

More nonsense here. If you can be bothered watching it, the film is only 54 seconds long (thank heavens). Don't you find most of this stuff vaguely embarrassing? I mean, is possible to invent anything more senseless than "nonstop you"?

http://magazin.lufthansa.com/de/en/n...om_DE_E_to1_37

Edit: actually, the other two short films about Lufthansa workers are quite pleasant.

As a CEO of company, would be seriously worried if my employees would behave like that. Maybe this is how LH employees feel when they hear that their CEO is coming to visit

Since this has made it to the front page of FlyerTalk.
Haywire Coffee Machine Grounds Lufthansa Flight

In their usual way the Daily Mail article on the subject features a photo of one of the remaining B737s (D-ABEC).

The AVherald article on the incident may be found here. D-AIKQ was near Sydney, Nova Scotia, and not the other Sydney.

Sgarbi is annoyed that the MdC didn't let use the front toilet on a regional flight: http://www.blick.ch/news/ausland/ita...id5510778.html

Nice to see that he thinks there is F on regional flights. OTOH he can't read the sign on the closed curtain either...

He can be glad that they did not divert the flight and have him removed, just like AB did some time ago.

In case you want to snag some OS inflight items (seats, silverware, glassware etc), there is a fleamarket near VIE this weekend: https://www.austrianwings.info/2016/...g-und-samstag/

Oops! This is what could happen when you fly an A380 without cabin crew.

A Lufthansa spokesman told the M.E.N an investigation was now underway.

He said the aircraft, manned by only two flight crew, had made a scheduled stop during its return to Frankfurt from Houston.

He said the slide was deployed but they had 'no idea how this happened'.

HT to LufthansaFlyer, but no I was nowhere near the airport.

Spend more time in China?

P.S. That's your quota for the day gone!
