Todays A380 Flight ex FRA [LH2010 FRA-JNB 06JUN]
Im currently staying at the FRA Seraton and just went down to the lobby to use the computer.
I noticed huge crowd and asked the checkin staff what was going on
the German football team is flying to SA tonight on the A380
The air crew has just checked into the Hotel and the press is filming them
Do any of the local fters have plans to come out to FRA to watch the A380 take off?

A private flight only.
No seats were auctioned off for this inaugural flight or sold to the general public.
This is a "guests only" flight accessible only to those "in the know". I tried to book myself but there was nothing accessible to us normal flyers.
I am not even sure if LH employees could get access to this special flight. Maybe the CEO and CFO and their families are on board enjoying the big seats but I am not sure about others.
I wish LH would have auctioned it off like SQ and AF did for their inaugurals with proceeds going to charities.

Instead of giving free rides to Show Biz in their A380 they should have filled the plane with their HON giving them the free trip. They are the ones making the airline money.
Even the Business seats in their new 380 are not that great anyway. Maybe "Shakira" got the right to sit in First Class?

Apparently she was late and she delayed the flight departure time.
Looks like she got to the gate too late.

I did not know Shakira either. I looked her up on Youtube out of curiosity.
