Hey sentom! I would really miss it if they got rid of the DH8-300 on VCE/VIE!

I was joking... the only thing to like about the DH8-300 is that at least it means OS has regular scheduled service to VCE!

The sad part is that they all seem to be stored with no buyers

Actually the 300 is gone from the vce-vie route... Since the summer schedule is active there are only 400s in service which is much faster!

Excellent- the 400 is a much faster plane, and also quieter.

And OS is putting an extra row into the Dash 8-400. This means now 76 pax instead of 72 - less legroom

IMHO, good riddance! I've always felt claustrophobic in those planes, where I felt that I was crammed in. As a rule I am not claustrophobic, as I love the EMB 145. But for some reason the CRJ felt too small.

I can confirm that...actually I don't recall the 300s...I've flown 12 segments on OS since Feb, IST, ATH and TSR and 8 where on 400s, the Dash Week-end to TSR was an experience, and I came out...CLEAN and...white (it's a joke but you need to live in Italy to understand: DASH is a brand for a laundry product, like TIDE or similar! ).
