Basics about the evoucher:

Use of eVoucher:
- upgrades 1 for a short haul, 2 for a longhaul leg (Longhaul= LH400-799)
- From Economy Class to Premium Economy Class = 1 eVoucher
- From Premium Economy to Business Class = 1 eVoucher
- *A carriers can be upgraded via the *A upgrade program (use the tool*)
- can be used for others via the tool* or if you are travelling with them on the same flight
- for eligible upgrade classes, check the section 4.3 o the M&M T&C here: https://www.miles-and-more.com/onlin...l=en&cid=18002
- or use this tool: http://www.miles-and-more.com/online...l=en&cid=18002
- good for confirmed advance upgrades, however that is only possible if the original ticket is issued with the flight number of the operating carrier. If you have a codeshare ticket, the upgrade for flights operated by LH metal can be done at the airport.
- can be used on any ticketed PNR, even if the flight operates after the date of expiry of the evoucher.

How long do eVouchers remain valid?
- All eVouchers accrued from 1 April 2011 onwards will be valid for 24 months.

* The *A upgrade can be done online using this link:
https://muaenduser.staralliance.com/...=lh&coBrand=de

Note:
At the moment, you can only perform online upgrades for flights operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA), Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines Group, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Singapore Airlines, TAP Portugal, Thai Airways International, United Airlines and Air New Zealand.
Please note that upgrades from Economy Class to Premium Economy Class and from Premium Economy Class to Business Class can currently only be booked through your local Miles & More Service Team

Maybe - he will have to clarify.

If it is a LH flight with LH flight number, then an upgrade would be possible.
If it is a LH flight with AV flight number (i.e.: a codehare), then an upgrade would not be possible.

It was indeed a LH flight number (on LH prime flight number, not codeshare), issued on AV ticket stock.

I wanted to check on FT first before reaching out to to the eVoucher „sponsor” because while we’re obviously on good terms (they agreed to give me the eVouchers!), we had minor falling out recently and I didn’t want to waste their time on talking to SEN hotline if there was no point in it.

In any case, I can now confirm that LH flights on non-LH group ticket stocks are, indeed, upgradable with eVouchers — I went from P -> O just now

Great stuff

And, presumably more award miles to follow than on LH ticket stock ?

Oh not even _close_. This is the cheapo MXP-BOG that was floating few months ago, for around ~1kE. Already had a schedule change too and rerouted via LAX (wanted to try AV 787!), and the rebooked VIE-LAX booked into D, so, as I said, not even close...

Yes & since LH group tickets are based on cost \ revenure & your saying this is a AV ticket, how are you not even close to earning more award miles on P ticket ?

Oh, sorry - maybe I wasnt clear i meant that Im earning so much more because of this being AV ticket, that its not even close to how ridiculously few miles Id get on LH stock.

Puzzled by applicable fares... I'm looking to upgrade a flight in March with evouchers:

Code:
1 LH 762 W 02MAR 6 MUCDEL HK1 2 1215 0010+1 359 E 0 M
2 LH 767 W 10MAR 7 BOMMUC HK1 2 0125 0550 333 E 0 M

 * FARE BASIS *  DISC    *  PSGR      * FARE<EUR>  * MSG  *T
01 WRCDE * * P1 * 988.12 * *Y
01 SNCDE * * 1 * 858.12 * *Y
01 NRNDE * * 1 * 877.12 * *Y
02 NNCPDE * * 1 * 830.12 * *Y
01 ERCDE * * 1 * 2082.12 * *Y
01 QRCDE * * 1 * 1313.12 * *Y
06 PRNDE * * P1 * 2230.12 * *Y
The lowest evoucher upgradable fare is 860, which is more than the PE fare... upgradable PE fare is just 150 cheaper than the lowest business fare.

A business award would be 105k plus 498 'Taxes, Fees and Surcharges'

Q is fishy, everything else looks fine.

I agree that using evouchers here is bad value. I can't really say I'm on top of these things but those numbers (except for the one on Q) don't surprise me. The one or two times I've checked the best use of evouchers seemed to be going P -> O.

Yes, its hard finding a fare that makes Evouchers good value.... I was using mine on LX P to O.

Recent fare UK to HKG at 1400 GBP return in P upgraded to O was nice

Expiration of e-vouchers

Help! I just received an e mail from M&M telling me my two e-vs will expire at the end of the month. I thought they simply rolled-over? Advice welcome ...
