Just as an example.
I booked a jet for 2 days for a total of 8 flights/segments.
On these flights are:
1 Sen requalifying
4 FTLs going for SEN
2 HONs requalifying
2 Sens going for HON
1 nothing going for SEN

I am at the FCT right now and the guest books contains a statement from a HON complaining about this offer. In a nutshell, he doesn't like that LH sells HON for so cheap. It's signed by "ein langjähriger HON".

I am a HON and I have been complaining with LH about this promotion for the last three weeks.
Sell HON Status is the worst move LH did since they created the HON Circle.

And in one of the e-mails I got from HON Circle Management, they wrote "It really is most regrettable that a promotion that was launched to celebrate a memorable occasion has been abused to such an extent. "

HON was a unique status where only the best LH customers would have access to it.
The only way to get HON status was flying LH group of airlines. No exceptions, no promotions. Only genuine frequent flyers would be HON.
HON must be a special status… either you fly enough and you get it or you don’t.

Soon we will get a bunch of cheap tickets buyers and promotion eaters filling the F Lounges and the vehicles that transfer from F Lounges to Planes.

You wont see that many new Hons, quite a few will requalify.

Also it is not true that you only had "genuine" HONs before.

You could always buy the HON with a few cleverly planned RTWs.

ROTFL - Nice quote. Brain-dead management pointing at evil customers. Very poor.

Btw, the only way to become HON is still flying. Even today, LH would turn you down offering them 25.000 EUR for HON Circle status. Private Jet is just a very accelerated way of piling up the miles needed.

received a mail today from a travel agency that there are still up to 4 seats free for a return fligh Stuttgart - Milano May 1st, although price is already up to 2999 Euros for small size. Some people really try to make money out of the promotion.
