You're spot on.

I needed a staff member to tell me that this was the beer garden, because neither my mother nor I recognized it.

Well if anyone can find the free beer, I suspect it is the FTers!

Oh dear, I took this literally and thought they had an outdoor area. Garden. Beer. Beer Garden.

Yes, so did I, although thinking about where the lounge is, it would be a little tricky to create a garden.

Wasn't there supposed to be a really nice view from the beer garden? I take it this also didn't materialize...

How disappointing. From the description I assumed they made something outdoor. Maybe on the roof like the bar in Singapore/Changi.

I think you probably wouldn't like the stereotypes being thrown around at the Hofbraeuhaus in Dubai!

Is there any reviews on this place, because from the sum of all things I've read on hear I'm quite let down. Is the remodeled lounge even worth a 3hr layover? Do they even serve you a Ma?

Lufthansa Beer Garden - Munich Airport

Anyone know teh specifics on entry to LH beer garden in Munich?

Business class and status - what is status?

Any options on getting in without a LH business class ticket?

J ticket or status is sufficient.

Just check the LH lounge access rules in their website.

Im not sure if its still there but it was part of a Business Lounge in the Schengen area of T2. Business Class passengers on *A carriers, Lufthansa Frequent Flyer (FTL) or above and Star Alliance Gold passengers have access to the lounge. According to reports in this thread it wasnt anything to get excited about.

If you want to visit a beer garden at the airport you should go to Airbru instead.

The main difference in the ceiling with natural light and the beer-bench-style seating in the middle of the lounge:

Food and drink are the same as in the other lounges.

Filled with people not even having beer!

Wasn't there an outdoorsy version in FRA a while ago?

AFAIK there is no outdoor version (airside) in FRA, only in HAM (SEN-lounge), MUC (FCL) and ZRH (all lounges in E).
