Yes it is. Just had 8 segments last year on LH, 2 long-hauls and 6 short-hauls. Thankfully, I won't have to spend anything extra to earn these miles as I already have a trip to India planned during the promotion period.

They used to set targets based on the status miles you earned during the same period the previous year, but more recently it might be based on what you spent on future flights during the same period. Whichever way there’s no chance of earning 56,000 status miles which is more than 50% of the total status miles without executive bonus I earned in 2018.

I haven't received one now and looked back at previous ones. The period they use to determine these miles seems pretty short as they vary wildly. Last September they sent me a target of 20k status miles to get 6k award. Last summer the target was 52k status miles for 15.6k award miles. These are for 3 month periods. And definitely, they've always been solidly in the "no way, what were you thinking?" territory. It makes even less sense now to try to gun for status miles since if you optimize for those you are likely to get a pittance of award miles.

And so far nothing from the 25 times miles promo. Tomorrow it will be 12 weeks after my first flight under this promo. The fact that they have not credited sooner makes life really difficult as award availability on the flights I needed has disappeared.
And happy Australia Day everyone.
