The strange part is that there doesn't seem to be any details available, just a broad statement "Valid for flights between 1 September and 30 November 2012 - Double award miles on all flights in Economy Class". Normally they specify which countries and/or which flights are eligible.

This is a rather strange promotion and is only economy classes (which ones I don't know). So now presumably a V class ticket will earn double the award miles of a business class ticket in P and 50% more than a business ticket in Z and the same as a ticket in C/D

Yes, very strange.... especially since so much detail is lacking.
But now my cheap K fare earns as much award miles as a P fare .

And since I was able to get 76A both times on the A380 there really wasn't much incentive to pay more.

Yeah, major difference being lower status miles and no HON miles compared to the business fare, but for a non-qualifying year it makes sense. I've just booked an S/V fare and upgraded with some soon expiring vouchers. I was waiting for decent business fares to upgrade but it made no sense

It actually works well with myChoice for the feeder flight, double award miles all the way.

I'm looking at loads to Asia, I booked into S-fare 7 days out and about 4-6 weeks out the lowest booking class is still available. Business cabins are however not as empty, that's why there's an incentive for Y bookings.

Don't you think the people who are brave enough to fly LH in Economy deserve something for their effort?

Fair enough. I have flown OS to Asia in economy and it is actually not too bad at all. LH I last flew economy longhaul in 1991 from FRA to YVR (one way) when they were codesharing with CP and the presidents club card got you into the "Senator" lounge which was up and escalator on the left prior to security.

Trip Advisor India

TripAdvisor.in promo extended until 31 October 2012, and no need for the hotels to be in India. I have already got the miles for the reviews I submitted in end August:

I'd just add that the "100 miles per review" is advertised as "Annual offer". The "until 31 October" seems to be the case for the "10 000 miles sweepestakes".

In any case, I wouldn't wait to find out.
