Hola!
5,600 award miles for 14,000. Taking into account that I have already booked 10,000 miles seems doable for me.
I seem to get targeted regularly in the last years

I was targeted by the last two "fly more" promotions: The "mile flight/Meilenflug" and the current "carpet bomb" promotion. My trick was simple: Signed up for M&M when I was rebooked by KLM onto a LH flight in August. Collected some miles and did enough flights to be upgraded to FTL in three months. That was good fun and gave some mileage.
Then LH reduced the miles from 500 or 750 per segment to 125 at which point I simply stopped flying them and will only chose them if they are the cheapest offer available.
Since then I seem to be targeted as a person they could maybe entice to fly a bit more with some bonus miles. Unfortunately for them, this doesn't work as I'd need a comparatively large number of flights for the threshold and I am not going to switch to business class for a 1h flight...

I have never been targetted for these atleast not in the past 1 -1.5yrs..
I flew them frequently ( 12 times in 2 months in Europe this year) but after than nothing since my pattern changed..
I wonder how or whats the criterion for these promos

The Blue Carpet promo is called "Alfombra azul" in Spanish, and I need 7000 status miles to obtain 2800 reward miles.
My wife hasn't been targeted, but then she's flown 0 miles this year; in my case, some 17000+ status miles. I guess it's all correlated.

Up to 10 free upgrades to C (intra German) for Partnerplus members
Wow! Just received an email from LH Partnerplus for free business upgrades "Benefit Upgrade Aktion" (for thoose of you who don't knwo the program: if you have your own company, you can register there as well, so your employees can keep your miles and you'll get additional "company miles" for every flight they do. I own a small but successfull company with two part time employees, so I mainly get double miles for my flights. That's the old stuff. If you apply for this, you should register.)
Now here's the new, great promotion this year: For every flight you credit to LH PP in June + July this year, you'll get one free Business upgrade. You can book your C upgrades for intra german flights from Oktober 2011 till march 2012, you can earn a maximum of 10 upgrades to C for every company registered with LH PP. See full term and conditions here:
http://lufthansa-ppb.de/jubilaeum_in...pdf/tnb_de.pdf
and apply here:

Enjoy! best regards,

I flew BSL-LHR-ZRH-BSL on April 23 (booked through swiss.com, all on LX Flight numbers), and no bonus miles for the BSL-LHR leg as yet (although I had to make a retroclaim for it in the first place, as BD only seem to communicate with M&M haphazardly - that's the 3rd time in 5 BD Flights since November I've had to retroclaim [I waiated 3 Weeks before submitting the retroclaim, incidentally]).
And even then, I tried the online retroclaim as it was an LX issued Ticket on an LX Flight number, but I had to mail them the BP anyway as it was BD operated. This gets my goat at having to mess about with Stamps seeing as how the Flight is from an LX Hub, Check-in is with LX [or at least Swissport], FTL Number and '*S' are clearly mentioned on the BP and they even gave me the BPs for the return Flights at the same time, which promptly posted 2 days later.
