Perhaps you can get it delivered to a friend in your name as I did last time. Thanks to Raffles once again, without whom I wouldn't have spotted it:

Thanks for this! Have been waiting for this promo to return

Make sure the promotion is still valid, though. I'm not sure how Raffles knows it is 24th March instead of 31st January. It's good that a few magazine promotions are rolling back into view. Nobody got any extra info on the 2,222 miles one offered by FAZ which I posted above?

With the cutbacks in mileage earnings and the stop to selling miles outright perhaps have to balanced out by 3rd parties. Wonder how long before we see 50-100k mileage bonuses for credit card signup in the EU :-).

You won't anytime soon..... revenues on EU creditcard spend has "just" gone down significantly so the benefits are only going down....

Yes I think the credit card bonanza is really on a downhill slide these days. There may be other offers that appear, though. I'm keeping my eyes open!

But so did the amount of issued miles by M&M from traditional sources, so they have to find another source to fatten up their books, especially if they want to continue with M&M as a spin-off company.
Happy enough it means paper and telco subscription yield nice bonuses.

I can find no info as whether the free test can be canceled or if you have to accept the subscription that follows. Anyone else get this one?

Just to give a bit of an update about this one (surely some of you received it too), FAZ told me today that there is a problem with the link and they are working on it. It won't be operative for a few days yet, apparently, but there is a decent amount of time before the promotion ends on 15.03 16.

As for the telco subscriptions, mentioned by Lack above, I have never really mastered those. I understood there was some way of getting the miles without actually ending up lumbered with a pricey subscription. A quick lesson would be much appreciated!

It's very similar to newspapers. Telcos (t-mo mostly afair) wanted to booster their subscriber numbers so they offered miles for signing up. Getting a plan w/o a subsidized phone for blackberry email access or similar affair at couple E per month yielded enough miles to justify the bill times the agreement duration. Sometimes you'd get even some cashback on top.
And you'd get the service as well. just like you get the paper scraps with a magazine subscription.

Mission: More Miles is back

Except it's not called 'Mission: More Miles' any more. As predicted the 'earn XXXX status miles and get XXX additional award miles' promo is back as Mileage Clock. One thing is certain. I'm definitely not going to meet the target this time. How do they expect me to collect 2.5 times the status miles I collected in the same period last year? If they started the promo in January for 3 months I would have met the target but I'm flying on wrong (*A) airlines.

The time is ripe for many additional award miles

The mileage clock is ticking: earn an additional XX,XXX award miles now.

As of today the clocks have been adjusted to extra miles for you. And this applies from 1 March to 31 May 2016 to all your flights with Lufthansa, Eurowings, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Adria Airways, Croatia Airlines or Luxair. When you earn at least XX,XXX status miles during the promotional period, you will have an additional XX,XXX award miles credited to the miles you have earned in the usual way. *

It’s best to register here right now. We wish you a pleasant time on board and hope you enjoy your additional miles.

* This offer is not transferable and does not apply in conjunction with any other Miles & More offer. To take part in the promotion you must register before 31 May 2016. You only need to register once and this is valid for the entire promotional period. Registration for the mileage promotion is, of course, free of charge. Status miles earned on Lufthansa Private Jet flights or via the Executive Bonus are not valid for reaching your personal target for the promotion.

Until 2011 each promo ran for two months and you got 40% of your target as award miles. Since 2012 each promo runs for three months but the award miles have been 'enhanced' to 30% of the target. There have been some exceptions reported by those with a low target (2000 status miles) who received 50% (1000 award miles).

But only for the first year of having the card, surely? At least, that's how I understood it. If it's ongoing, I wasn't aware of it.

No, not just for the first year, the offer keeps returning. It was just back at the beginning of this year (and the year before).
