I agree with you regarding not to book extra flights to get a few thousand miles.
Also, one year ago, a trip within Europe via Switzerland, in Business, costing 4/500 euros, would yield 10,000 status/award miles, incl. the 25% executive bonus(HON, Sen and FTL), plus "my Choice" bonus if you had picked up any of the segments.
This year, the same ticket, only yields 3750 status/award miles, so much more difficult to reach the target.

Has really no-one here received their miles for the last Mileage Special? I was offered 1,900 miles for 6,000 flown between 15th February and 15th May. Still no sign of them.
Sorry I haven't been able to post anything interesting here recently. There just don't seem to be the same number of magazine subscriptions on offer at the moment.
