Any drink with a bottle deposit, so any drink sold in Germany in a packaging (excludes milk, juices, dietary drinks, baby/children food and alcoholic beverages in disposable containers)

Thanks. But just to be clear.... the whiskey they sell would not carry such a deposit, and I therefore would get the extra miles?

Yes! The whiskey and other hard liquor sold in Germany has no bottle deposit.

How so? Do you have several M&M cards you intend to use for this?

You are right...I figured that since I had a few transits I could make several purchases. But apparently person/transaction will only be credited once in May.

Another lousy promotion for just one additional 222 miles.

earn 15000 miles

By far the biggest reward of earning miles, amongst all non-travel related partners.
15000 miles can get one way flight from London to Berlin!^

Welcome to FT gchan. You should have mentioned that the offer is for a 12-month subscription to the IHT International Herald Tribune. The price is around 30-40 EUR per month, thus 15k miles for 300+ EUR is nothing to write home about.

I suppose if you want to subscribe to the IHT anyway it is OK. The problem in the post of the OP is the suggestion of getting a ticket to Berlin- where the surcharges on a shorthaul are very frequently much higher than just buying a ticket outright which is strange.
