Long term accomodation in WeHo
I need to find long-term accomodation (~3 mos) accomodation in West Hollywood; either beginning mid-Sept or Oct 1. Anyone have any ideas for sites to look etc.?
Hotels are way too expensive for me and my budget is a bit tight. Merci, MapleLeaf |
You might contact Oakwood ( www.oakwood.com ) to see if they have a fit for you. While they do not have a property in West Hollywood proper, a few of them are close, and in cool neighborhoods.

You might also consider http://www.westsiderentals.com/
There is a fee for the service but they do list short-term rental properties. I suspect that you will be successful in finding a property in WeHo as the area is filled with apartments. Good luck |
Thanks guys, I will check them out.

I would second craigslist. There are many short term rentals listed and the benefit over westside rentals is that it is free.

Apart from getting a map of LA, how would I know where to look, and where not to?
Also the zip code of the area I will be in is 90069, is there any neighbourhoods close to that where I should definitely stay away from? (sorry for all the questions, I have only been to LA once, and that was for 2 days... 3 mos is very different :o ) |

Some upscale zip codes in your preferred area (but not all):
90038 (parts) 90046 (WeHo, L.A.) 90067 (Century City) 90069 (WeHo) 90210-90212 (Beverly Hills) |

Also, adjacent to 90069 on the south is 90048 . A more modest zip code to look at is 90035, though beware some areas of that zip code are seedy. 90049 has lots of rental units south of San Vicente that shouldn't be too pricey either.

Cheers. We are working on dates now. Choices are Sept 1, Oct 1 or Jan 1. Gotta say Jan - April in So. Cal sounds much better than Jan - April in Canada :D |
