BUR Parking
I need recommendations for parking - reliable shuttle, reservations accepted, price is an issue. Passengers somewhat mobility impaired - will be able to walk a short distance but getting bag(s) on/off the shuttle assistance required.
Thanks! |
No personal experience, however, VSP Parking accepts reservations, has a frequent shuttle and offers assistance with luggage. In a much older thread, members were happy with Marriott Burbank Airport Parking, however, I have no idea if they accept reservations. Both facilities are across Hollywood Way from the main entrance to the airport.

Lack of reasonably priced predictable parking has kept me from booking flights out of BUR as things have started back up.
If there's more than one passenger I'd almost recommend dropping anybody with limited mobility directly at the terminal, then going out to Lot C and walking or taking the shuttle back, but C has apparently been filling up and doesn't take reservations. You can make reservations in G, but it's small and relatively expensive. I've never used VSP, either - it's only slightly closer than C, and I almost always just walk from C. |
no good options unfortunately - either valet (right in front for $25/day iirc) or VSP with shuttle for a touch less. G is as expensive as valet.
C is unpredictable and not very close, southwest by railroad is $15 with some walking as well - can be a challenge with mobility issues. I'd valet if can not drop off.. |
Has anybody used BUR lot C parking recently?
Flight schedules have improved enough that I've got my first BUR flight in probably 2+ years and haven't dealt with parking. Normally I've used Lot C, but have no idea how it's been as far as filling up. Edit to answer my own question a few weeks later in a slow forum: BUR Lot C doesn't seem to fill up, presumably because the slightly less expensive A is open again. I flew out on thurs evening, returned on Tues evening and while the lot was full-ish on entry, there were plenty of spaces. It was empty-ish when I returned. The BUR website implies that they don't do tickets anymore, and you have to use a CC to enter and the same on to leave, but they seem to be doing both that and tickets still. I took a ticket on entry, paid with CC to leave and I didn't notice anybody in the booth at the exit, though there might have been. |
Looked at the BUR airport parking website, and was excited to see that they allow pre-booking and give 6 hours grace for delays.
Just as I was getting excited, lots A, C, E and short term not available for pre-book. Nevertheless, $13 for lot A is pretty decent. |
