Six hour layover in LAX. What to do?

In a couple of weeks, I'll have a six hour layover in LAX after flying in from PVG. I guess I could spend six hours in a lounge, but I rather not unless there is a very good lounge at LAX? I'm scheduled to arrive at 14:05 and flying out of LAX at 20:05. I do have TSA-Precheck. I have never been to LA before. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Go to the beach. Everywhere is perfect for strolling or rent a bike. You can either get an Uber or go by bus. To get to the bus take the parking lot shuttle, the bus station is at the back of the parking lot. Buses are cheap, safe and easy. Do a bit of research, every beach from Redondo up to Santa Monica is a bit different in atmosphere. Manhatten Beach is upscale with an interesting little aquarium at the end of the pier. Venice is scuzzy, lots of homeless but the beach is interesting in its craziness, particularly around Muscle beach, and the Venice Canals area is delightful, Santa Monica has everything.
