Best currency exchange
 

I have a bunch of foreign currency (many countries) worth about $1000 USD in total which I've accumulated over many trips and years.

Can anybody here suggest a good place to exchange it all in the greater Los Angeles basin?

FWIW there's a GREAT currency exchange place in SIN (Chinatown), but I won't be back in SIN anytime soon. Therefore, I'm hoping that LA (maybe Chinatown again?) has a similar place - I'll gladly wait on line for good rates and low commissions.

No personal experience, however, LA Currency Inc claims to have the best foreign currency exchange rates in Los Angeles. They do not charge commission or fees and their website displays their real-time exchange rates (their spread between buy and sell seems to be rather high).

I've found the best exchange rates to be at Wilshire Coin on Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica.
