Parking @ LAX: https://book.flylax.com/book/LAX/Parking or LAX Official Airport Parking

Recommendations for selecting booking times and total booking periods: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/34711926-post186.html
Note also that for booking close-in and and around holiday peaks, some of the off airport lots may offer advance rates that are very competitive with the LAX operated lots.

Interactive map of LAX on-airport (Central Terminal Area) parking status is linked here (includes links to nearby off airport parking if you scroll down)

Economy Lot Shuttle Tracker (bottom link, light blue)

Note that parking rates in the CTA structures increased on 10/19/21.
Economy Parking (structure in part of the old lot C location) opened 10/19/21.
Prebooking is available at substantial discounts for the CTA ($22 vs $50/day) and Economy ($15 vs $25/day) parking at this link

See most recent posts in thread for prebooking discount codes offered for airport operated parking lots.

For prebooking, you must book at least 6 hours before your arrival.

Note that access to the Economy Lot is only via Westchester Pkwy to Jetway Bl - there doesn't appear to be any shortcut via 96th.

Fly LAX Official Twitter Feed with general information.
Fly LAX Stats Official Twitter feed with parking lot occupancy and time to T1 from points outside the airport and time through the U on the upper and lower levels.

Park 'N Fly @ Park One and LAX Lot C are permanently closed.
Lot E is permanently closed as of 7/26/21

With the limited availability of parking at LAX as travel picks back up, Van Nuys or Union Station+Flyaway bus may be a reasonable alternative:
Union Station Parking (at Patsouras Plaza) is $8/day. Make sure you're in Union Station East (the underground facility) and fill out and drop off the downloadable form if you'll be there longer than 3 days.
The Consolidated "LAX Flyaway Bus" Thread (2014 - Date) has up to date information on taking the flyaway bus; parking is $5 a day.

They sent me the DST10 and DST15 codes a half hour apart this morning, along with a "you haven't booked with us for a while". I booked two parking reservations with them a couple days ago.

Sort of. They can't figure out where to put the tickets or hook up the tow.

I have to say, I have some sort of problem just about every time I park here. Granted, many are due to construction, but some just seem to be errors in the system.

I recently arrived to park at P3. I get there and, guess what? Totally closed. I circle around and see a sign that says to go to P4. Fine. I pull in, show the woman my QR code and she lets me past the cones. But my QR doesn't work. I call, and then guy says that even though it's for that day, I used it weeks ago. Huh? I did park weeks ago, but that was a different reservation that got screwed up due to different construction in P2. So he theorizes that they applied this parking money to that time slot when they fixed it manually. Fine. Whatever. In the meantime, I have a flight to catch, I'm wasting time, and I now need to walk back over to Delta from P4. So he lets me in and says he'll work on it on his side.

I expect more fun when I try to get my car out in a few days.

The whole point of paying extra to park at the terminal is for the convenience and time savings and both are diminished when this doesn't work right.

I haven't had anything that bad, but the CTA is definitely flakier than the Economy parking. It's pretty common to pull up and have to show your reservation to a person to just make the left into the driveway of the parking area, and then have to talk to someone on the intercom to get the gate to open. Now that they seem to have the buses running frequently, I'm not convinced that there's any added convenience at all to parking in the CTA - you have to factor in the time driving in and out of the horseshoe, while the bus from Economy gets to use the express lanes.

I've only done economy once, but you're right - those dedicated lanes make it pretty painless, and if the bus frequency is up . . .

I have a few more CTA booked for now but maybe I'll swap one over to econ.

Email from the Los Angeles World Airports:
Sorted your Spring Break plans? Well, booking parking should be next, be quick to take advantage of this offer - 15% off parking for arrivals in March (hurry - offer ends at midnight on March 16, 2023).

Don't forget we offer free cancellations and changes, so there’s no reason to put it off until tomorrow!

There is no discount promo code, use this link to book.

And discount codes don't stack on it - they just substitute. I just rebooked some parking and tried it.

Demand must be light - I just did a couple close-in rebookings and it was the same as a couple weeks ago, but now 15% cheaper because of the discounts.

Quik Park must be hurting. I just received an email from them comparing their rates to "On-Airport" parking rates; they claim that that they are more affordable, but they ignore the fact that they are substantially more expensive than the LAX Economy parking and that their shuttles from the "closest Off-Airport parking" cannot use the dedicated LAX shuttles express lanes within the airport.

New promo for official LAX Economy lot site - good for bookings made March 17 through 19. 15% off using code: "SPD15".

Fine print is contradictory about how far in advance one can book. I was able to use the code for a five-day trip near the end of April ($76.49 total):
_
"Offer applies to new bookings only and expires at midnight May 31, 2023. Discount is applied to all online parking rates for arrivals on or before March 31, 2023. Excludes Van Nuys FlyAway. Bookings must be made at least 6 hours before arrival. Overstay fees will be charged as normal upon exit. Promotion subject to availability. LAWA reserve the right to modify or withdraw this offer at any time."

I noticed that, too. They really need someone to review those things before they send them out, and also review what they've actually coded.

On one of the recent ones that was a few-day long sale I emailed them when the site didn't honor the code that was supposed to be valid for another 12 hours (and they'd just emailed me a reminder). After a couple days I got an email back that they were applying a credit to the booking.
