LA Metro Rail System not on Google Map?
Individual stations appear, but only when zoomed in.
With other city systems, clicking on a station causes entire route lines to appear. I have Google map tagged with my points of interest. Is there any way to lay entire Metro System over this map so I can easily see logical stops? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...LACMTA-Map.png Thanks! ^ ^ ^ |
I can't help you with your specific problem, but you might find this map more useful since it shows all the rail lines in the Metro system (i.e., Metro Rail, Metro Liner and Metrolink):
http://media.metro.net/riding_metro/...rolink_map.pdf There is also an app that might be sufficient to overcome your challenges: http://www.metro.net/mobile/metro-mobile-app/ And an online trip planner: http://socaltransport.org/tm2_text.php |

Thanks! Are these all covered by ($20) 7day Metro pass? Metrolink = Commuter Rail service - different agency/operator and multi-day Metro pass does not work However, Metrolink ticket does convert to a One-day Metro pass if you buy the ticket with the chip embedded. Also note, Metro pass is no good on other bus agencies that out of towners may typically use (Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Culver City Bus, Long Beach Transit). Those agencies sell their own multi-day passes. |
