The Cut - Beverly Wilshire

I'm hearing good things about this restaurant in LA, anyone confirm or deny?

Yes, it is awesome. Best steakhouse in LA and I've been to all of them.

I concur. Although, I'd say Mastro's is very good, too.

One thing you can't get at Mastro's though is the American Wagyu. If you go to Cut, definitely get that! **drool** It will set you back about $90 for the steak though, but well worth it.

Oh yea... the wagyu at Cut is the best. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Mastro is a very close #2. No arguments from me. You can't go wrong with either one if you are into good steak and fine dinning experience.

I've eaten at both and prefer Cut. I always seem to encounter attitude when I go into Maestro's and avoid them unless I have a business dinner there.

That said, when I want a good steak and great service, I prefer Mortons in Beverly Hills.

Is the BH Cut operated by the same people that have the restaurant by the same name in Las Vegas (it is in the Pallazzo)? I have been to the one is Las Vegas and it was awesome.

Yes, same restaurant, different locations. Wolfgang Puck's company owns both.
