Recipe for GlobalPass success

I would like to begin a thread listing some ingredients we believe would enhance the success of GlobalPass. This programme seems to have the potential to be a "Global" mover in the FF world and they have been pretty bold in the past (Million Mile promotion). What do you think?

My suggestions:

1) GlobalPass has a nice web interface with lots of potential. One route I would like to see happen is the signing on of small airlines. GlobalPass would market their abilities to keep track of a small airlines frequent fliers by offering the GP programme. This needs to be followed up with aggressive marketing on the local front. Central to this success is a "reservation module (software)" that would process GP accounts locally at the airport. Sending in of boarding passes is a thing of the past.

2) New partners need to be small airlines. Forget the big ones. They have their own marketing brands and GP will not be able to compete. Smaller airlines need assistance to get their own FF plans up and running. Some airlines have their own FF plans but have no partners (eg: Air Tanzania, Xiamen Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines) Some airlines are great but have no FF programmes at all (Air Nauru, Mongolian - MIAT). Get them together to offer a "Global Alliance" of small airlines - an alternative to the big boys.

3) Re-introduce Elite membership levels with appropriate mileage bonuses.

4) Ease up on redemption rules. Strive to be the "Starwood of the Skies". No blackouts for member airlines.

Just my two yen.
