Southern Winds no longer accepting GP bookings - we're down to ONLY 3 carriers now!
 

Called GP today and was advised that Southern Winds is 'temporarily' no longer accepting GP bookings.

Of course, Avianca is gone, too as of January 5, 2005, IIRC.

Looks like we're down to just 3 affiliate carriers now on which million milers can claim awards, of which only the first two listed here are realistically viable options:

1. TA
2. VH (Aeropostal in case you've forgotten)
3. KLM (which is the absolute pits to try and book)

(4.Southern Winds remains an affiliate, but has suspended award booking for the foreseeable future).

Any suggestions as to the best way left to dump large chunks of miles, before it's totally too late?
