Double dippers can now go for third layer of miles

From the Miami Herald:

Travelers can earn frequent-flier miles twice on the same transaction by using credit cards to buy airline tickets -- first from the airlines and then again when credit-card companies hand out bonus miles for each credit purchase.

Now double dippers can accumulate a third layer of frequent-flier miles by using a new booking engine on the website of GlobalPass ( www.globalpass.com), a mileage-based customer loyalty program.

''When they use a credit card, they can actually triple dip,'' said Bobby Booth, chairman of Miami-based AvGroup, which runs the GlobalPass program....

Yep - ironically, I will earn more miles from GP than actual flight miles due to GP's generous 4 for 1 deal. ($1 gets you 4 GP miles).
