SCL Arrival Time
 

Apologies if covered in another thread… I usually spend most of my time in the BA forum.

Flying LATAM SCL - AEP on 20/02 at 8:23am. What time should I arrive at the airport? Will need to check a bag. LATAM suggests 3-4 hours prior which seems excessive

If you can OLCI successfully, I'd suggest that 4 hours is quite excessive. If you can't and need to see an agent (for anything other than bag tag printing and bag drop) then I'd suggest 4 hours just to be safe. Otherwise, 3 is more than enough. The choke point is the passport control. The airport isn't a zoo at that hour, and unfortunately, the PDI booths are staffed woefully accordingly. Class and status matter not.

Thanks for the info. We checked in online and took about 40 mins to drop bags and go through PDI and security. Looking at the queueing system they have set up it could take a lot longer though!
