LATAM business class Sky Club access in LAX?

I read somewhere that as LATAM and Delta are increasing their codeshares, LATAM business px would have access to Delta Sky Clubs. Is this correct? Specifically, I’ll be flying to LIM from LAX in December and would love to check out the new Sky Club.

Sure, but are you connecting with Delta? Otherwise you will have to clear security to enter Terminal 3 and I am not sure TSA will let you trough

The *A (Air New Zealand-operated) Lounge in TBIT is the designated lounge for LA J passengers. By December, who knows. Unless T3 and TBIT are connected airside by then, I'd not want to deal with TSA a second time at LAX.

Ah, I totally forgot there’s no airside connection between T3 and TBIT. Thanks for pointing this out.

Yep, you’re absolutely right. Totally forgot about the lack of airside connection. I will forego the delta lounge unless the bridge is completed by then (I’m sure there’s almost zero percent chance of that) and head over to the *A lounge or the Centurion. Thank you.

I thought you can take the bus to terminal 2 from TBIT (one you're past security) and access there. Can you not?

I'm assuming you can walk from terminal 2 to the new Delta sky club lounge. Am I making the wrong assumption?

If it's any consolation, the LAX SkyClub is nice, but not a life-changing experience. Certainly not worth the hassle of changing terminals and going through TSA twice.

The TBIT-T3 connector is now open so much easier

Can a LATAM biz seat get you into the special Delta One Check-In lounge at LAX? I'm in LAX-LIM on a LATAM marketed, LATAM operated flight (return on DL D1)

Nope. You will fly out of TBIT

Should be, at least per the LA website - you might want to check shortly before your departure date to see if has changed again.

Since LATAM Business Class passengers get access to Delta Sky Clubs, and now the T3 and TBIT are connected post security, I assume passengers have their choice of the Qantas Business Class Lounge or the Delta Sky Club. Is one much nicer than the other? I think I might prefer the Sky Club just for better views.

Yes. Unless you have LATAM Black Signature status then you can enter the QF F lounge.

SkyClub is pretty nice but it was crowded when I went. The One World J lounge isn’t going to wow you with design but it is spacious and I didn’t feel crowded in there.

I didn't have any bags to check, so I stopped by the T3 arrivals entrance to the new Delta One check-in door. I asked if as a LATAM business pax if I could enter there. They said I couldn't check in but could enter for the lounge access.

It was perfect for me to have a call Lin the lounge area of the check, have a cocktail and small snacks. Finished the call, then private security, then elevator into the lounge, with a friend escort....
