MAD counter time

Anybody knows at what time does the MAD check in counter open?

I arrive to MAD at 2:30pm, and I take LA705 later that night. As I have two separate reservations and I have checked luggage, i need to deliver it at counter. I see that MAD-FRA departs at 3PM so maybe there will be people to check my luggage?

I think that you can only check your bags like 4 hours before if not a conection. But just use the left luggage service
