Lounge access SCL/IPC
 

Hi,
I have bought a ticket in J from Scl to Ipc, I called LAN to know if I have access to the LATAM LOUNGE, the first agend told me this flight is a domestic flight, after that, I saw in the ticket international flight, I called again and the agent told me that is a mix flight, security requeriments aré similar to domestic, but the flight departure from international area. Anyone know something about?

The flight is domestic. You will go through security into the domestic airside and will not have access to the latam lounge.

The part abount departing from the international airside is only true in part. You will most likely board on gate 20, which is sometimes used for domestic and sometimes used for international as it is the "moving thereshold" between both airsides. For all pratical purposes, you'll always be on the domestic side (no lounges, no duty free shops, etc)

JL is quite right. It's a RPITA. You check in at the extreme left hand end of the terminal, up the escalators, in the posh J checkin. You then go back down the escalators and walk to the extreme right hand end of the terminal and go through domestic departures.

Don't do what I did and try and check in at the domestic flight desks or you'll have TWO terminal walks to do. #FnckinStupidTerminalLayout.
