Expired points date extended?

where I would had 98000 points expire at the turn of the year had I not done a last-minute booking that used up most of them a couple days before they expired, but 12000 or so still expired at the turn of the year, as the Expiring Points page had saying for many months would happen.
So LATAM obviously did only very minor extension of expiration in the spring. And that's on a top of a no-notification change from 3 to 2 years of expiration for people who have points (rather than miles) in the LATAM program now.
