90 percent cancellation was announced - which flights?

90 percent cancellation was announced yesterday but cannot find any details, nor get any reply from LATAM. I have a flight EZE-SCL-MEX. I am kind of thinking its cancelled, but don't know for suree. Anyone have any information on this?

CONTINGENCY - Commercial exceptions due border restrictions and flight cancellations

This procedure will replace posts:
  • CONTINGENCY - Borders access restrictions in Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, Europe, Israel, South Africa, Oceania, Peru and Chile, due to coronavirus
  • ROUTES - Changes to LATAM operation
All reissue made after 23:30 LT CL 16mar20 are ruled by the definitions indicated below:

LATAM COMMERCIAL EXCEPTIONS

Due to:

Borders access restrictions and LATAM cancellations.

Passengers Traveling:

1) From / to: Ecuador

2) From / to: Argentina

3) From / to: Colombia

4) From / to: Europe

5) From / to: Israel

6) From / to: South Africa

7) From / to: Oceania

8) From / to: Peru (includes tickets with 100% DOM Peru flights)

9) From / to: Chile

10) From / to: Bolivia

11) From / to: Paraguay

Original flight date:

From 08 MAR 2020 until 31 MAY 2020.

May choose ONE of the following options FREE of penalty according to:

Change of date/flight

rerouting:


  • To fly today and until December 31, 2020, subject to cabin availability (Agent needs to book lowest class available. No charge for fare differences, provided it is to the same origin / destination). Ex: departure 30 / Dec / 20 - return 10 / Jan / 21.

  • To fly from 01 January 2021, change applies subject to applicable fare differences. Ex: departure Jan /15 /21 - return Jan /25/21


If the client does not show up on the flight:


  • Noshow is allowed on flights until March 31, 2020. The ticket may be used as a form of payment for a future purchase as long as travel begins until Dec 31, 2020 or up to 12 months from the original issue date (whichever comes first ). These tickets will be centrally marked by LATAM with a standard message (which will be informed in the next few hours).

  • On flights from April 1, 2020 onwards, if the client does not show up on the flight, changes are subject to all fare regulations (including the fine). This implies that any change request must be made BEFORE the departure of the original flight.

  • If your customer is not sure about their new date of travel, the ticket may be left open to travel until 31 December 2020. The agent must contact LATAM Sales Support BEFORE the departure of the original flight to enter a remark on the ticket: COV16MAR20.

Change of origin or destination

No penalty, subject to fare differences and ticket validity.

Passengers who decline to make a change may request a refund according to:

PERMITTED, without penalty, after contacting your agency support executive within 48 hours of sending this publication.

  • Changes of date/flight/rerouting apply maintaining the same origin/destination.
  • Change of origin or destination means flying to/from a city different than the one printed on the original flight coupon.
  • Ancillaries associated to the ticket are subject to changes and/or refund depending on the action taken with the ticket.
