What can I do about flight change?

I have booked a ticket with LATAM with the following itinerary in April: SYD-SCL-LIM-CUZ. The layover time at SCL and LIM is around 4 hours and 2 hours respectively. The LIM-CUZ flight was brought forward for half an hour. I believe the connection at LIM is now below the MCT so they are putting us on the first flight the next day. There are no earlier SCL-LIM flights available. I have a few questions and I hope you guys can help me with them. 1. The new flight is too early in the morning. Can I ask them to move us to a later flight? 2. Can I ask them to provide a hotel room for the overnight layover? 3. I have a separate CUZ-LIM booking. Because my time at CUZ is shortened, can I ask them to reschedule the CUZ-LIM flight in the other booking? 4. If I accept the flight change and later LATAM adds a new SCL-LIM flight for earlier that day, can I ask them to put us on that earlier flight and reinstate the original LIM-CUZ flight? Thank you! |

The SCL-CUZ flight is a good idea. However it doesn't operate on my date of travel and I need to travel on that day. So I still need to transit in Lima. For my questions number 3, I have just found out they have changed my CUZ-LIM flight in the other booking as well. I should be able to change it to a preferred timing. I'm surprised that LATAM hasn't notified me any of these changes. I found out all these by myself after checking my flights in their app... They normally don't send any emails about schedule changes? |
