Frustrated with constant changes in schedule and availability
Planning the flights for our next holiday in Argentina and Chile has been quite frustrating.
First, the whole debacle with being unable to buy CJC-SCL because of some weird availability games that LATAM seems to play, with the situation often changing daily or weekly. Now, when I was about to book a MDZ-CJC on 2nd January, I've got to realise that they seem to have removed the morning flight from MDZ to SCL on some days, and specifically on Thursdays. The late evening flight does not work for us. This may lead us to have to remove Mendoza completely from our itinerary. At this stage I doubt they will re-instantiate that flight. Any thoughts? |
yeah i am flying jfk-gye, and now the outbound is 1am! and coming back instead of 930ish its now 430 which puts us in JFK at 1030/11 at night. not the best flights....

When are you flying? Are you trying to book with Oneworld miles?

For regional flights, the airline revise its schedule on a 3-4 month window. I don't think they are going to reinstate that flight for those dates
If you are redeeming with miles from another airline (ie. not LATAM), you should know that partner availability vary constantly (specially on January which is high-season) and trying to book a flight is kind of a wild-goose chase. If you find availability on a flight that works for you, you should book ASAP |
