New Brand for Domestic Flights: Basic (hand baggage only)
As part of LATAM's commitment to offer more options, customization and flexibility for all types of passengers, please be informed that LATAM will launch a new brand option called BASIC in the domestic markets of Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.
- Allows seat purchase
- No carry-on baggage is permitted, but checked bags may be purchased
- LATAM Pass/Fidelidade mile accrual
- Replaces the Promo brand

This chart show different.
I added JL sapphire when booked but couldn't finished the payment. If you registered Tripcase app you will get notification automatic even the booked not finished. And I saw the PNR in Tripcase app. I could use it to check online on Latam website and found Oneworld sapphire elite benefit (carry-on and check-in baggage) still work on new fare basis:BASIC.

This is interesting. It seems this hasn't been/won't be imminently introduced for domestic Argentina flights, correct? I have some flights booked next week in N/O, and I'm trying to figure out if I'm eligible to carry on a bag.

Since today, all Spanish Speaking Countries are selling the new brand:
- Domestic Chile: August 06, 2019
- Domestic Peru: August 27, 2019
- Domestic Colombia: August 27, 2019
- Domestic Argentina and Ecuador: September 3rd, 2019
