Rebooked flight conflicts with another reservation, LATAM helped

Hi. LATAM rescheduled my reservation for three in premium economy GRU-EZE, and rebooked us onto a much earlier flight. Unfortunately, the new flight conflicts with our inbound GIG-GRU on a different ticket. After calling them to find a solution (and expecting to be told the only fix would be 7 hours at GRU), their customer relations team offered to move us to an earlier GIG-GRU, which is a very satisfactory result. Two questions:

- Do you folks imagine LATAM will permit us to through check our luggage GIG-GRU-EZE across the two tickets?
- If not, is 135mins sufficient time at GRU to collect domestic luggage and check in for an international flight?

Thanks!

Their policy is not to check through on separate tickets, but of course you may get a sympathetic agents willing to do it anyway. If not you have plenty of time at GRU, you will need to walk from T2 to T3

As long as your flights were purchased as part of the same reservation, your luggage will be tagged until your tripís final destination. Despite this, in some instances you will need to collect your luggage at connecting points so it can undergo customs checks, or go to a different airport. This procedure will also be necessary if you are staying overnight at the airport. The luggage must be checked in again at the baggage desks.

- Probably not.
- Download the app and check-in beforehand. You'll land at T2, collect your bags and walk (kind of fast) to T3. Go straight to the bag drop counters to avoid long lines. Do you have status with OW?
