LATAM and Peanut Allergies

I am considering flying LATAM with a severe peanut allergy. I typically avoid airlines which serve peanuts as snacks to everyone in flight (Southwest, Delta, Singapore) - even if they refrain on my flight, the plane is coated in peanut dust from previous flights.

Can any LATAM frequent flyers comment on their Y/W inflight snacks? I'll be doing LAX-LIM-IGU. LATAM's US twitter team has been useless.

I dont fly Y so often, but on my flys i have never got any peanuts snacks on Y. Also no meal on Y will have peanuts for what i renember so no many chances for any left over.

My tip will be to just stay away from the first rows, since on J you do get Peanuts as a snack.

OP, is it just peanuts or any nuts?
LATAM serves nuts on business class and there's no policy (as far as I know) regarding banning them on a flight due to one passenger's allergy. I suggest you inform them formally - via email - of your condition.

Thanks for the response - tree nuts are no problem, just peanuts. I will definitely inform them. My primary concern are those annoying bags of peanuts handed out to every single person on the plane (economy especially) a la Southwest. If LATAM doesn't do that, I will be fine.

2 years ago Latam used to do that (domestic), but now that are low cost they dont give anything free and on the payed menu there are no Peanuts

As international goes, you only get food, no snacks on economy, sometimes they will give you a Chocolate bar with your food, i have just get some milk chocolate, i dont know if in some flights give chocolate with nuts (like a Milky way maybe).

On J you get some assorted nuts, sometimes will have some peanuts on it.... i know because my wife dont like peanuts and i end up eating hers hehehe
