LATAM to Alaska interline @LAX
 
How likely would be to persuade the LATAM agent at LIM to check my baggage through to Alaska at LAX? On separate tickets? Unlikely but wanted to check :rolleyes: I know I have to pick up and get through immigration - but If have the tag I can just drop off instead of carrying them to another terminal and waiting in line to re-check them in,

I have 3+ hours available to connect - so plenty of time to recheck - however I would prefer spending the time sipping champagne at the oneworld business lounge than schlepping bugs around.
