Buying kilometers with LANPASS Visa card--Earn 1 mile for every mile you buy
I'm currently looking for ways to top up my LANPASS account, and after looking to see what LAN charges for mile purchases, I saw this on their website:
"Kilometer purchases can only be made with a credit card - use your LANPASS Visa Card and earn 1 mile for every 1 mile you buy!"
Obviously with the Signature card I would normally get 1 mile for every $1 I spend. However, since LAN kilometers are being sold for 2 cents each, on a purchase of 46,000 kilometers, it sounds like I would be getting the normal 920 kilometers for the purchase PLUS another 46,000 kilometers for using my LANPASS Visa.
This sounds a little too good to be true. Does anyone have any data points/experience with this?
