What does "Resort Credit" mean? (Planet Hollywood)

Just booked a room there for 2 days.

The offer says $50 "Resort Credit" and $40 gaming bonus.
(I called them, but I don't think they knew what I was talking about)

Is the $50 like a gift certificate? Like I can use it for the buffet?

This is the offer I used:

I think this beats the AAA rate of $89 since it includes the $50 (if it means what I think it means)

It means you got 50 bucks to spend at PH.

gift shop. 50 bucks
use the gym/spa 50 bucks
eat at some deli restaurant 50 bucks

call it a "loss rebate" LOL

You may want to consider the gas credit as well as it just gives you a flat 40 bucks back even if you dont incur any resort expenses. I am not sure about the resort credit but pretty sure if you dont charge anything to your room you will not get the credit on room only.

ahhhh.. sounds very good.
I really want to try the buffet (2 people), so I am pretty sure I can spend the $50.

You charge things to the room, such as the buffet or room service or a mud pack, and at least the first $50 is comped (free).
