Yeah, I know there are plenty of lunch options :)
But I'm wondering if there are any good breakfast suggestions here for something unique/super-delicious, or if I should just hit Denny's (). Wynn buffet Canyon Ranch Grill Carnegie Deli (inside Mirage) |
BB King in the Mirage also offer a good breakfast and quite reasonably priced.

So Mrs. Seaflyguy and I stayed at the Palazzo a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time. I PL'd our room for $140/night over a weekend.
The $20 trick websites recommended going to $50 at the Palazzo. I didn't have a $50 bill with me, so I used two $20s and made sure they were both visible. The check-in clerk asked what I had in mind and, having no experience, I put myself in his hands. He gave us a room on the 32nd floor with a Strip view, and that turned out to be quite nice. (Suggestions welcomed as to what we should request next time.) There was a lot to like about the Palazzo, but I'd say our favorite thing was setting up a betting account, reserving a loveseat at Lagasse's Stadium Sunday night, and then using a Pocket Casino device (basically a big, clumsy tablet computer) to make real-time bets on the football game. It was quite addictive -- so much so that Mrs. Seaflyguy took over betting duties pretty quickly. (We conferred on all the bets and ended up slightly up for the evening.) Afterwards, I said to her, "If Congress legalizes gambling, and they make that kind of thing available on iPads, we can never, ever do it at home. Ever." I think we might make the Palazzo a yearly tradition during football season. |

Here at the Palazzo now - been here since Monday, leaving Christmas Day - the place is generally dead right now, although apparently they worked out a deal with the Boise State Alumni Association to provide rooms for BSU alumni for the Las Vegas Bowl which was last night, so there have been a lot of Boise fans on the premises this week (I think the team stayed over in the Venetian)...
Weather has been absolutely miserable however - cloudy and heavy rains most of the week - our room has a view of the Wynn & its golf course and yesterday the fog was so thick that you couldn't even see the Wynn from our room!! The casino has been pretty dead for the most part - I'm a low-budget blackjack player ($10 - $15 a hand) and I've had no problem finding space at a $10 table thus far...

glad u & mrs. liked palazzo. me & mr. love palazzo and won't stay anywhere else. u didn't have to do even the $20 tipping. they normally give it to u just for asking. but $20 is plenty. if you do the $50, it's mostly for bigger suite or maybe concierge's level.

Choose the suite drop down to view tours and pics (5 pages worth) of almost all of the suites; including the Lago, Penthouse, and Hospitality Suites.

You say almost... what suites are missing from this?
They also use the pretty Las Vegas Sands 747 and L1011s (with in-flight baccarat gaming) to fly in these players.:cool: |
Anyone ever booked the Penthouse? What is the going price for the 1-bedroom? I hardly see any pictures of it online but the ones on the website make a look sweet with the hardwood floors!
