Palms Hotel

I was wondering if anyone had any idea where I could get a good rate on a room at the palms during a weekend in July. I have a friend who is having a birthday party in Las Vegas and is planning on staying at the palms. If anyone could let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hook up w/ someone who is a substantial player @ Palms :D

Otherwise, Palms doesn't give away their rooms on the weekend; because they don't have to. No need to discount, when you can fill them at full price; also, not such a large inventory of rooms. This is the same problem at Hard Rock.

Best deal is across the street at Gold Coast or RIO.

Forget the Rio. The World series of Poker is going on all month.

Hence forget the Gold Coast too, will already be fully booked with poker players.....

Might be true... but when I checked a number of days throughout July and beginning of August on harrahs.com they seemed to have rather good availability. Yes, I think RIO is busier than it would regularly be during the summer... but def. not sold out. Of course, pricing might be higher... though, my regular comp or very discounted rooms popped up without any problems (during that period).

well.. there always is the Orleans... :D anyway, a lot of folks have cars.. so, I am certain these properties are more booked than usual, but probably NOT sold out.

Anyway, this is more the reason why a weekend room at Palms will NOT be discounted during that period.
