Re: #9, There's also a Fatburger right on the Strip... I'd imagine that would be easier to get to.
The Circus Buffet is great... if you like food poisoning ^ I would add the diner in the Player's Club... cheap late night eats... $1.99 biscuits & gravy, and other items (if I remember correctly). There's also all those places that have cheap prime rib dinners at various hours.... wish I can remember them all. Most are edible, considering they are <$5 meals. |

http://lasvegas.citysearch.com/besto...005/cheap_eats 6. Sonic Drive-Ins 5085 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV Gotta luv any place that has tater tots. ^ There's another one on Boulder Highway near the Joker's Wild. |
In n' Out Burgers and Baja Fresh Mexican Grills are fast food joints that are common throughout southern california. Might be great for non-Californian visitors, but I certainly won't travel all the way to sin city to frequent fast food joints that are right in the nick of my backyard. :)
Circus Circus on the other hand has some of the worst buffet in all of Vegas. But as the title of this thread has indicated, you get what you paid for. |
Not a single mention of the Westward Ho Snack Bar in the cheap eats? Even though the place smells, everytime I have been there with friends, the line for food is out the door in the back. I guess there is some sort of thrill for people getting a hot dog the size of a forearm for $0.99. I would rather save the heartburn and pony up the extra $1 and get a In-and-Out Burger..

I don't know about in Vegas, but Fatburger in Denver is very pricey for what you get. Cheeseburger, fries, and a drink run almost $8. It was good, but I think I'd rather go to Fuddrucker's for that price.
My personal favorite Vegas meal for $8 is La Creperie in Paris. The half-rack of ribs at Westward Ho isn't too bad for $5. |
