I will be back in Las Vegas on July 29th staying until August 7rh The trip started out with a Facebook Ad whereby you called up an Agent for an Auto Insurance Quote. As a thank you they gave you a 4 Day 3 night Vacation to various destinations Of course I chose Vegas. . Afterall my 39th Birthday is on July 26th.

Booking:

I went online to see what Hotels tye voucher would cover . I chose the Flamingo over the Rio. As it was for a King Standard Room I wrote in to see if they could consider me for an upgrade. I paid $100 in taxes plus the $45 a night resort fee. .

I wrote an Email seeing if they could upgrade me to a new room with Strip View. The kind Lady upgraded me to a Suite.

Then I looked for other.places to stay. I booked a Southwest Flight from SJC to LAS for $129 arriving at 8:00 AM..

For my first night I used Alaska.Miles to stay at the Westgate Resort. I called up the Resort to ask about Upgrades or upgrade offers. The kind Man said for $40 more plus $45 Resort Fee he could get me a Suite. I took him up on his offer.

Then I went online to.My Vegas rewards and redeemed a Comp night at Park MGM 1 King Bed. With my MGM Gold status my resort fee will be waived and a potential Upgrade.

I then wanted to stay in Downtown again so I booked The Four Queens for 4 nights. Through a contact I was able to get the Casino Rate for a Premium Roon in the South Tower.

Museums:

I got Tickets for the Neon Boneyard and Show as well . In addition I got a ticket for the Mob Museum.

Nightclubs

I booked the On The Record Club at Park MGM and am working on the Cosmo Club too .

Views

I am planking to go to Skyfall Lounge on the 64th floor of the Delano, 108th at the Strat and Paris one on the 2nd floor.

Dining

My plans are to go to the Westgate Buffet ,MGM Buffet and others along with Carlos and Charlies,Senor Frogs,Mon Ami Gabi, La Salsa Cantina ,Margaritaville, Bouchon ,Nacho Daddy, Hash House A Go Go ,Evel Eye Pizza and many others.

Transportation

I will be purchasing the Residential Bus Pass for $20 which includes the Deuce and other routes. Much less expensive than the 5 Day Deuce Pass.

Uber/Lyft/Taxi I will take it when going to and from the Hotels Airport etc.

Downtown Free Bus /Westgate Shuttle I will use it to save money to see Strip.

Monorail

I will supplement the Bus Pass with the Monorail if it's crowded.

Free Trams

I�m in Las Vegas now. This itinerary seems inconceivably long. I cannot imagine 9 days. I think you need to take a trip to Utah or Arizona.

Packing up and schlepping to a different hotel 4 times seems like quite the hassle and major time suck. Also, I would not go to LV during July/August peak 100+ daily Temps
but since you are, I think you should think in terms of spending as little time as possible outdoors.

He's quite the planner, wheeler dealer and knows what he wants. I'm for one jealous about having the time to plan and take off.

I once did something similarly efforted for less payback, I stayed one night each in 5 different (bad) Hilton hotels in the Tampa area, in the summer, in ONE business week, to qualify for a 100,000 point bonus, 20 years ago. Still have the points, greatly devalued by this point...

I don't understand what the voucher covered. You're paying $235 for 3 nights...I can book the Flamingo for 3 nights in the first week of August for $222 including taxes & resort fees. So the voucher has you paying $13 *more*?

Modified to add: it's hard to tell exactly what nights you're at the Flamingo. If it's over a weekend, then your paid rate would be cheaper than what I could book without the voucher, so your voucher might have saved you something.

Though I do agree with others about hotel hopping. I do it, sometimes in Vegas, but it's about the most inconvenient city in which to do so because (1) most hotels, especially the kinds of deals you've booked, won't allow early check-in or late check-out, so you're orphaned in the middle of the day, (2) check-in lines can be long, as can waits for the bellman if you need assistance, as can the processes of storing and retrieving luggage if you're doing that, (3) it takes forever to get between properties schlepping your luggage, whether it's on foot, bus, monorail, tram, taxi, or with your own car with slow parking processes, long taxi lines, long walks through lobbies, etc.

I've stayed at almost every hotel on the strip and done the walk up and down too many times to count. Now, as I get older, I usually stay 3-4 night at a time in one hotel and do most of my gambling, eating, and drinking at that property or the ones immediately adjacent. (Of course, back when Hyatt awarded status based on stays, it was a different story -- I'd sometimes knock out 4 or 6 stays in one trip, though that was inconvenient.)

It�s been several years but I found the MGM buffet not so good. I�d only consider with a MyVEGAS BOGO.

Since you have a bus pass, consider the Southpoint casino for low stakes gambling and a decently priced buffet. Not great but worth the money with a players card.

That is a perfect description of why hotel hopping in Vegas is bad...the logistics of it. I have a comped room at Caesars and another at Cosmo but since they are each only for 1 night, I can't bring myself to go through the hassle. Packing up and checking out, $$ to get to the other hotel and then not being able to check in for a few hours so having to store luggage and then come back and go through the check in process would just be a major time suck. But OP is going for a longer stay and it doesn't sound like the OP cares to spend much time gambling so maybe the time & inconvenience isn't an issue. It sounds exhausting to me....especially in the summer! I am not dragging my luggage down the street in 105 degree weather.
