LINQ Rooms - Classic vs Deluxe vs District 3

Anyone familiar with this property? I've never stayed.
Currently have a Classic King booked. I am getting offers to upgrade to a better room for only a few dollars a night, but not sure which would be worth it and which aren't.
Deluxe room +9/night
District 3 Deluxe room pool view +9/night
District 3 Deluxe room city view +14/night or +21/night
DIstrict 3 Deluxe poolside cabana +23/night
District 3 premium room +35/night
King Junior suite +49/night
District 3 King Suite +56/night
King Suite +56/night

Anyone have any experience with any of these, or see any that stand out as something I should consider?

All I can say is that last month I attended a conference in Vegas where a few of my coworkers stayed at the Linq. Every single one of them said they'd sooner sleep in a tent on the strip than stay in that awful place ever again.

What were their specific problems with the Linq?

Dirty rooms, dirty public areas, poor/nonexistent customer service, noisy rooms, broken furniture, their lists went on and on.

Interesting. I've normally stayed at Silverton in the past but they are closed for remodeling, the rest of my group was here so I decided to try it.

It can't be as bad as the Miami Airport Hotel...can it?

Has the rest of your group stayed there before? I would say that you have been warned not to expect much. Is that your only choice?
I have never heard of Silverton.

No, this is a new one for all of us. They normally stay elsewhere on the strip but not sure why they moved here. Reviews look decent enough - main complaints are rooms are a little small but functional (which is why I'd consider upgrading, although not critical) and that check in/out is mostly automated which doesn't bother me. At this point, it's too late to change.

Silverton is the hotel down next to Bass Pro Shops, off the strip.

In the winter months, I’m a backer of the LINQ. No need for pool facilities, I avoid elevators so it’s handy when staying on the lower floors, and it’s small enough to be out your room and on the strip without too much bother. I’m staying for a couple of nights after Xmas, it’s almost free before taxes and resort fees!

Its not luxury, but you don’t go to vegas to spend time in your room !

At the linq now, district 1 9th floor in a luxury king room.
No complaints. Room does not have a fridge which would be nice. It's a little noisy at night until the bar below closes but not horrible. Overall, not bad at all. Clean and functional.
