Skyloft : not available every Thursday to Monday for 4 months !!
I was surprised to see zero availability 4 nights a weeks from September to December.
I have emailed them and they confirmed there is not availability.
I asked if / when it’ll be released and they didn’t reply.
do you have an idea ?
not sure what they’re doing that.

Possibly - wonder if its a football season thing? Its possible they put a hold on all the weekends through the end of football season and will go back and release the ones where they dont have home games?

For the available days they increased the prices.
(
I was a little surprised that MGM properties in Las Vegas now seems to price their suites at a higher prices that before compare to regular room
At Bellagio their entry level "bellagio suite" is now 3 times the price of a regular room and it used to be double IIRC. This is especially true on week end
For example week day in October at Bellagio the room is less than 300 and the bellagio suite 550 and on week end the room is about 500 but the suite is 1500 (and the penthouse 2500)
Seems to be about the same at their other properties
So for the same friday night , the bellagio penthouse suite will cost more than a lanai at Mirage with a plunge pool (2000)
Trying to understand hotel RM in Vegas is not easy for me

Over the week end FS vegas is cheaper than Bellagio for both rooms and suite
Does FS Vegas good ? Why this FS is "only" a 4 diamonds ? (Aria sky suite has 5 )
Not a big ban of the location . Maybe they have a house car ? (called uber / lyft
)
The rooms looks nice, the entry level suites doesn't seem to be renovated. I'm probably wrong
What I love with Bellagio is the location and they have steam showers and jetted tub

On 4S Vegas:
Pros:
Service is better than most places on the Strip (not as good as Skylofts and probably upper levels at Wynn, etc.)
I like being in a non-casino hotel but next to one
Nicer than Waldorf which is a simlar arrangement - but not as nice as when it was a Mandarin
Really like the breakfast at Veranda
Really like the pool
Like being close to SkyBar and Rivea
Lower end suites have been renovated but footprint hasn't changed - so still 90s style bathrooms
There is a house car - I've only taken it to the airport
Good location if going to a Raiders game or concert at the stadium
Good location for airport
Cons:
Location at the end of the Strip (unless you've been to Vegas many times and just want to relax) - would never send a first time visitor there unless allergic to gambling
See comment above about room footprint
Really need Charlie Palmer replacement and Veranda is dead at night (access to Mandalay/Delano restaurants helps)
Better service than other Vegas resorts but not as good as other 4 seasons
A bit of a generic feel to it - not as fun as SkyLofts or Aria SkySuites or high end Wynn rooms/suites
Pool is great but getting a cabana at Aria is better
Breakfast at Mansion is better than 4S (you get Mansion access with SkyLofts); dinner at the Mansion there is a little snoozy but fun to do once or twice

vegas properties, especially mega casinos like MGM and CET do not operate inventory like normal hotel brands (eg marriott). you need to be connected to a host to unlock higher level rooms and hosts can block many rooms for any night. emailing with no status doesnt help. even if you are NOIR, you will get lower priority over higher level NOIR. anything you see via website are rooms for the general public. also depends on which marketing channel you use. sometimes you see things on FHR but not direct.
