$5 Blackjack is back
I know a few casinos advertise it, but I saw $5 blackjack at South Point a couple of days ago. First time I've seen a $5 table since COVID.
Last trip I walked into Palace Station, saw that the cheapest limit for a blackjack table paying 3:2 was $25, and walked right back out.

Wow that was the lowest table blackjack I played the last time I was in Vegas - 1997. Definitely a downtown casino - not on the strip.

I rarely even walk through a Strip casino, but I'm pretty sure the table minimums will be at least $15, and I wouldn't at all guarantee 3:2. The only good thing about 6;5 is that I don't worry about my wallet - I know my pocket is being picked every time they deal the cards.
I frequently see them raise the $5 tables to $10 at 6PM, but players playing for $5 are grandfathered until they leave the table.

I haven't been to Vegas in about 5 years (but will be going back shortly), but my recollection from that visit (also my first in a few years, I used to go very frequently 10+ years ago) was that 3:2 BJ was difficult if not impossible to find even on $25 tables at the bigger strip casinos. I even remember before that when 6:5 started infiltrating, but usually it was at the $10-15 tables only in the "gimmicky" areas, like the Pussy Cat Dolls tables (where they had pole dancers in the pit, lol) at Caesars. Now it's everywhere. Very offensive. So I've mostly been sticking to craps. I don't think casinos have been screwing around with the odds much there (I suppose they could tweak some of the single roll bet payouts, obviously lower odds on pass/don't, but I'd probably be surprised if they did).
That said, I suppose the counter-argument is that this is just a run-of-the-mill price increase, no different from what the casinos have done in the restaurants and spas over time. And I also suppose I'd still lose less money at a $10/15 6:5 table than a $25 3:2 table.

I think the lowest is the $1 blackjack at the OYO hotel (next to the Tropicana, used to be Hooters)). They offer it 24/7 but I'm sure getting a seat is tough.

Was playing $25 min Double-Deck 21 at Venetian last night. Got a couple 21s and was rewarded with 6:5, $30.
They did have $5 BJ, but the set-up looked like several machines plus a dealer attendant.
Actual tables had minimums of $15, $25, $50, and $100.

I don't know that much about 6:5 stores because I would avoid them like the plague anyway. The only one I've played at that I can remember was Park MGM, and that was only because I was there for a conference and some friends wanted to play, so I played $10 6:5 blackjack for maybe 20-30 minutes.
I mostly play at South Point, but I wound up at Rampart last night and found out they have 3:2 but with surrender and resplit Aces up to 4 hands. The one thing I don't like about South Point is no resplitting Aces.

Where are you referring to? Venetian specifically?

I was surprised; there was a $5 table at South Point both Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. And many $10 tables. It's fairly common for them to bump the $5 tables to $10 around 6PM, although anyone already at the table is grandfatherered at the lower limit.
I was also there earlier this month with a friend who is older and disabled, and they let us play at a $10 table for $5. I didn't care that much but blackjack is my game but not hers. She mostly plays Pai-Gow.
