MGM - New York, New York Hotel

Help!
I booked a room (May 2021) for a basketball tournmant this week (July 14th).
I just phoned New York, New York to confirm the July 14th reservation and they see it as cancelled. I did not cancel it.
MGM reservations provided me a telephone number of (702)675-9710 (group reservations) to contact to have the reservation reactivated at the discounted group price. Long hold time on the telephone and then it asks for your telephone number for a return call.
I have yet to receive a return call.
Check-in in a few days and causing much concern and stress --- I am traveling with children
What should I do?

As this is not a Hyatt-specific discussion, I have asked mods to move this to a more appropriate forum.

The group reservations e-mail I have for NYNY is [email protected] although this may be outdated; also, if they are not returning phone calls either then perhaps it might be optimistic to expect an e-mail response.

In the meantime, I would look to secure acceptable reservations somewhere so that you have a place to stay.

If you are traveling with kids, I would try Circus Circus.

I really enjoyed the refurbed room. Just a nice as a Park MGM room but slightly bigger. We were lucky as we were the first to stay in the room since it had been refurbed.
