Pan Am 747 coming to the strip?

A Hollywood exec wants to bring a retired Pan Am 747 to the strip as a tourist attraction

Sounds like an interesting idea. I'd consider it at about 1/2 the price. However, since my husband hates to fly, I'm pretty sure that the simulated turbulence would be a deal breaker

Of course, most of the people who would be going to this will be leaving Vegas a few days later, making the modern airport experience seem even worse...

I definitely wouldn't pay that much, but seems like a smart idea. $300 for a lot of people would still be less than a night at the casino.

Having heard about this idea elsewhere I am impressed with how accurately it recreates the authentic Pan Am experience: sitting on the ground for a few hours on a 747 that isn't going anywhere.
