Best First service from LAS to NYC, ORD or WAS?

We have flown United's F service to these destinations from Las Vegas and found it poor to mediocre- but that was a few years ago so maybe it has improved?

Is Delta better? How about Jet Blue or Virgin America?
TIA

IMHO Delta, Virgin America and United are all about the same.

Jetblue Mint is the standout. LAS-JFK Mint service is supposed to start November 6:

Interesting.

I admit to being slightly confused about the question though -- Mint aside, the others are just going to be domestic F. Are you expecting something out of LAS that's different from F on any other route of similar length?

I mean if time and money are no object then you could backtrack to the west coast for one of the premium TCONs. On DL besides going through LAX for D1 to JFK there are also a couple connections through SEA and SLC that gets you on a 75S on the longer segment but it's just the D1 seats, the service/blankets/pillows etc. are the same as if it were a regular domestic F flight. But then it's no longer really a LAS-specific question either

Unfortunately BossLady wants to fly NS out of LAS. I have expalained to her (often) that this route does not get serviced by top tier aircraft.
Looking forward to trying MINT and hoping it will get the other carriers to bring up their quality.

well, once mint goes on this route, it will definitely be a top tier aircraft. The start price is only $549, which is pretty good. And the product is much better than these domestic F. I don't know why anyone would pay for another airline's F on this route after Nov 6.

Virgin America's first class seat is significantly better than a regular domestic F seat, right? 55" pitch IIRC (vs. ~37-40") with deep-ish recline. But otherwise, it's all pretty much the same, though every once in a while you might see a DL/UA/AA 757 with the flat bed seats they normally use on international.
