Las Vegas dining with points & miles...

All,

Between comped rooms and air miles, so far so good on saving $$ for an upcoming LV trip :)

I have various points & miles programs that allow exchanges for non-travel, such as dining gift cards. I am wondering what large brands (i.e., Darden, etc) may be on the Strip as well as Fremont Street where I could use gift cards towards meals.

Thanks in advance!

PFChangs is just east of center strip.

I'd hardly call comped rooms "saving money". :)

Strip chains, off the top of my head:

Casino Royale (mid-Strip) has a Denny's and an Outback.

Rainforest Cafe at MGM.

PF Chang's at Planet Hollywood.

Cheesecake Factory at the Forum Shops / Caesars.

California Pizza Kitchen at Mirage, also Fashion Show.

Fashion Show has a ton of other chain restaurants like Capital Grille and Maggiano's - check the directory.

Of course, I think you're wasting your time if you're coming to Vegas and trying to save money on eats by going to chains. Much better off enjoying the high quality of restaurants available, or going to non-chain places to save money (Ellis Island, anyone?).

Thanks azcoyote & gengar

haha I understand about comped rooms not really saving money but I'll take them anyway. Kind of surprised I got them, 5 of 7 nights at zero, but I'll take them :) Yes, a 7 night stay, have a conference in there and do plan on visiting non-chain restaurants too -- having a few back-up restaurant cards will give me more money to spend at the non-chains as well as other things!

Also:

Grand Lux at Venetian/Palazzo

Il Fornaio at NYNY

Hooters at, well, Hooters Hotel

TGI Friday at Orleans

Gotcha. Totally understandable for a 7-night stay. :)

Had to add 1 night on each end of original 5 night to be able to use award travel ;) Might as well save those airfare dollars for, well, you know...!
